The reading books aim to encourage children to read Welsh independently. Covering a range of topics, the books have been designed to make reading in Welsh fun! At the back of each book there is a list of the vocabulary in the book and suggested activities and questions to ask your child about the story (including English translations).

In order to support second language parents and carers with correct pronunciation, there is a handy ‘read aloud’ feature on the e-Books with audio narrations of the words and phrases within the books. This will also help parents and carers to develop their own Welsh language skills at the same time!
